The pre check in on line was awesome. Received emails and texts prior to arrival. The front desk was very accommodating. I needed an extra pillow…no questions, just given. Nice breakfast…nothing fancy but very nice. Quiet hotel. Near a lot of places to eat.

I have been going here ever since I was a little kid with my parents and I have loved every night we have stayed there and I don't care what anyone says this motel is awesome and it is very luxurious compared to other motels. The amount of restaurants and stores surrounding it is crazy. The rooms are cozy and it's very quiet. They even have a pool that is clean and relaxing to swim in. Even chairs to relax and lay your towels and stuff on. Very family friendly I see families come with their kids and get in the pools all the time and they always look like they are having a blast. There is also a vending machine as well as an ice machine. Vending machines have chips and other snacks in it and they are delicious. I have never witnessed seeing any nasty things such as bed bugs, roaches, or mice. It honestly feels like an at least 4-5 star hotel instead of a motel. I have watched tons of movies with my parents while eating food from the hundreds of restaurants surrounding the place in our room. Me and my parents have been there so many times we have probably been in every room there is. It's honestly a vacation spot for us. On Christmas and birthdays we always talk about how we should get a mini vacation and go to super 8 to celebrate. It honestly doesn't feel like your regular old motel. It is honestly luxury compared to other motels. It lives up to its name because it for sure is super! AND FOR ANYONE THAT HASN'T BEEN TO THIS SUPER 8 YET AND DOESN'T BELIEVE ME ABOUT THE LOADS OF RESTAURANTS HERE ARE JUST SOME OF THE HUNDREDS SURROUNDING IT!!!! LET'S MAKE THIS A 5 STAR HOTEL!!!!!!
I’m not sure why this hotel gets such mixed reviews…I work in Etown but i’m from out of state. All the hotels in Etown were booked except the ones that are really bad so I decided to drive to Shepherdsville. I took a chance on the Super 8, as I am a rewards member. The girl at the desk was sooo HELPFUL, had me checked in very quickly. She was so sweet! My room was super clean!!! I love the blinds in the room, it’s perfect for us night shifters!! Keeps all the light out which was a pleasant suprise from my usual hotel. It was quiet and in a very safe area. Bed was comfortable and clean! I honestly have NOTHING bad to say about this hotel. It’s def a hidden gem and the price point was amazing! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and neither should you!

Boyfriend's review: Very courteous staff. There is an ever so slight language barrier, but their friendliness more than makes up for it. Pool wasn't working but we were there for Bourbon and Beyond so it didn't matter to us. Right off the interstate and near many different options for food, as well as Kroger and Walmart. Girlfriend's review: Room was slightly damp. That was it though, quite literally. Could use a dehumidifier. Staff was friendly. No bugs.

I called the hotel ahead of time and I got great, guest services over the phone from the reception desk associate He got me a great rate showed up & was checked in within 3 minutes at most. Got to the room. Absolutely large beautiful room. King size bed. Nice and clean. The hotel has an indoor pool that I'm looking forward to using tomorrow and they also have smoking rooms available The hotel has a very nice lobby. An elevator meeting rooms available handicap parking handicap access to the hotel Overall a very, very nice place to spend a couple days
